Nightly Belly Dancing: A Show You’ll Never Forget
No evening at The Sultan’s Tent is complete without the artistry of our world-class belly dancers. At the heart of this magic is Gabriela, our head dancer since 2016. Born with a passion for movement, Gabriela began studying belly dance at the age of 14 and trained in Buenos Aires, Argentina, eventually earning her title as a certified belly dance instructor in 2015.
Our Head Belly Dancer, Gabriela, shares:
“Belly dance has been one of my greatest teachers, teaching me so much about myself, my beliefs, the thoughts that inspire me and then ones that drain me, the ways I relate to others, my health and the ways I can challenge myself to grow.”
Her performances combine musicality, charisma, and cultural authenticity, making her a crowd favourite and a true Toronto talent. When she’s not performing, Gabriela teaches belly dance across the city and travels to festivals and private events — but The Sultan’s Tent remains her artistic home.
